Power Wheels Batteries
Congratulations you have just purchased a
new Power Wheels vehicle for your child and it takes only a
few uses to discover that the first accessory you will need
are more power wheels batteries. DonÕt misunderstand, Fisher
Price gives you enough power to run the new vehicle for
quite a long time, but trust me that your young one will
only want more time behind the wheel driving about the
neighborhood. Having one of the more upscale models with a
Òfuel gaugeÓ will help your new driver keep closer tabs on
vehicle operation and start heading back as the needle moves
toward the E. Additional power wheels batteries can extend
the fun as long as needed or at least until darkness falls
as there are still no significant lights on the vehicles.

Some of the upper end models do come
standard with a second battery, Fisher Price knowingly did
so with the higher performance and/or bulkier vehicles as
their batteries are drained much more rapidly than the
standard models. It will become second nature for you to
keep one set of the power wheels batteries on the charger
while the other is in the vehicle (and if your child is
fortunate enough) and another one waiting to go into the
car. Despite the ease of vehicle operation battery
maintenance is still strongly recommended for the
supervising adult only. The batteries can not only be heavy
and difficult for a young child to wrangle around, the
changing of the electrical connections especially the ones
for charging can be more hazardous for the less safety
inclined child. Most of all it is important for the child to
enjoy their life as a child and grow up at a non rushed
paced. Today is Power Wheels, tomorrow they are asking the
